“Poor stock control / delivery”

Having ordered a gift on Equus and the site stated it was in stock and gave a delivery date that was well within the timelines I needed, I was really dissapointed that I had to chase delivery as it was later than expected and was then told that they're basically a drop shipping business as they didn't hold stock of this item themselves but were just getting it from a 3rd party and didn't have concerete timings.

I explained the situation and was offered some loyalty points which amounted to a cash value of about £1 which didn't exactly fill me with joy.

I'd say if you want to go to a reliable retailer who has proper stock levels and stock control and can thus deliver what you need when they say they can I'd avoid Equus.
