“Useless Customer Service”

I placed an order for delivery.. - which Wickes split into 3 orders.. one from local (Ipswich) store, one ( with most of the items ) from a further away store (Colchester) .. and last direct from a supplier. When the Colchester order was delivered,one item ( A garden rake ) was missing.. I told the driver, who just said he did not have it on his van - so left it to me to sort out ( surely, he should have been responsible ). Anyway, I contacted Customer Services on the web form - 2 days later, I received a reply advising they had contacted the store.. and they would phone me within 48 Hours.. They didn't. I again contacted customer services.. and exactly the same, promise of store contact which didn't happen. I then completed a summary of what had happened on an email and sent to customer services.. and copied the Wickes CEO ... suprise, suprise, the CEO email is disabled.. - he obviously doesn't want to see what is going wrong. This time, I got no reply at all from Customer Services. I then thought I would make another contact with customer services... First Chat ?... no, not working, too busy... Then phone.. after numerous selections, got as far as 'item missing from delivery' and the auto reply said that orders are often split.. so look up the order ... and advised that the call was being terminated.. and it was.. Finally, completed the contact form AGAIN and asked for someone to ring my home number.... They obviously didn't r5ead it... I got another email asking for details... and another few days delay...
