“Terrible company!”

I arrived at the airport the day after I made my car rental reservation and had trouble reaching this company by cell phone (they have no counter at the airport) to be told there was no car available for me because I canceled my reservation. I did not cancel my reservation--this company made a mistake. I needed a large car because I had 8 people with me, and it was spring break (though I was in town for a funeral) so there were hardly any large cars available anywhere else. I had to scramble to find one at a different company, and paid nearly twice as much as I had planned. This company told me I could file a complaint after the fact, submit my receipt, and maybe they would reimburse me the difference. I'm in that process now, but I don't expect they will be helpful. Stay away from this company, which should go out of business soon.
