I had a bad experience with Amazon Whole Foods delivery service and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Aside from the fact that they almost always have items that they cannot fulfill -- and they are the largest online store in the world so they should be able to manage proper inventory -- the last order from them (which will be my last) included MOLDY BUNS.
We didn't notice the mold until serving the food, which ruined more than just the buns. These were served the SAME DAY as the food arrived.
What's worse, and to add insult to injury, Amazon's customer service in 2020 is just the worst. They require you to call or chat (no email or form contact, no way to attach photos), and it took AN HOUR with the chat reps to handle this issue. With three different chat reps. One even gave me an email to contact Amazon which doesn't accept incoming emails.
In the end, it looks like they put through a refund for $4.99 for the buns -- but they couldn't even give me a confirmation number or confirm the total. I also asked in the chat to have my Prime Membership cancelled -- three times before I eventually left because it had been an hour -- and they DID NOT do it.
I would seriously and strongly recommend not ordering Amazon Whole Foods delivery service unless you want to receive missing and damaged products, waste an hour of your time to receive a refund worth $5 (this or choose to keep moldy bread, as one example), and ruin your dinner and entire night after trying to reach the customer service.
A really bad experience that will be my last with Amazon Whole Foods, and the customer service -- this company's inability to provide any worthwhile customer service at all -- has made me decide to stay away from Amazon in general.
Buyer beware -- you may waste your time, food and money -- I did.
