“FASTHOSTS - Worst hosting company i have ever dealt with”

Written on: 12/10/2011

FastHosts where do i start? The initial purchase and setup of the services went with no problems (They do sales very well) However it quickly goes downhill from there with constant downtime and terrible speeds, then comes the technical support call (That you will get very used to - i know the FastHosts support Phone number and autoteller number sequence off by heart now) you will be promised they will look into it and respond soon (soon being sometime in the next 7 days) Simply unacceptable if your trying to run a business.

It does not end at the terrible FastHosts uptime/service and woeful support, they will even be abusive to you if you dare complain!! The real problem comes when you have finally had enough and try to change/cancel services, there is no way in your account to stop renewal or to cancel and you are forced to send them an Email that they often *cough* do not receive or loose in the system resulting in your services not being canceled and you being billed AGAIN for a service that does not fit the need.

I would say at least they are cheap but there not.. There are far better "Budget" hosts out there that actually care about there customers.

BTW i did not use them for "Budget" hosting i had 3 Dedicated servers that had a habit of being flicked to halfduplex speed on the switches resulting in very very poor speed from a supposed unlimited 100MB connection.

Now if it stopped there i could rack it up to experience and move on, but if you complain publicly on FaceBook they will ban your account, so people resort to complaining on Twitter (Shoutz to @failhosts for pointing me here) Where they use Spam software called TweetAddr to flood complaints from the recent timeline with 100's of Twitter spam accounts promoting themselves (Like i said there good at sales)
