“Excessive parking charges”

So, I thought I should do some shopping at B&Q in Garthdee, Aberdeen. It is on a site with several megastores so naturally I planned to do some shopping in the other stores as well. Parked the car at B&Q as I planned to buy some heavy items there but started the shopping at a Booths nearby. Came back after 30-45 minutes to find a parking charge. As I had ‘left the site’ B&Q thought it was good customer service to charge me £70. I politely disagree. I do not see the point of moving my car to a different store if all the stores a next to each other. Whilst they can have their £70 today I will avoid the B&Q chain like the plaque in the future.
