“A lovely hotel in a wonderful neighborhood”

I love the Hotel de l’Abbaye. I am a repeat visitor having stayed there before, both prior to Covid, and after their opening again in mid September. Before Covid, it was clearly livelier, particularly since our stay coincided with some sort of cinema festival or event. We saw many celebrities enjoying the elegantly furnished lounges or the garden while having drinks or tea, or being interviewed.
Staying here during Covid was more subdued but just as beautiful and elegant. The staff is amazing, kind, attentive and they make you feel like a VIP.
An added benefit is that while located in a very cool area of the hip left bank, the hotel is amazingly quiet without any of the horrendous Paris traffic and noise.
This is definitely the place to stay when in Paris.
