“Avon Roadrider tyres (fitted to Ducati 750GT 1975)”

The first impressions of the tyres are very good. One tyre of the pair (front) arrived the day after ordering - top marks, Made in England, code: 2620, i.e made week 26 of this year -v. good.
The other tyre of the pair (rear) arrived five days later - tracking via Germany!
Made in England, code: 3619, i.e made week 36 last year (September) not so good.
The previous tyres were paired Avon Roadrunners, but very old. The new one - front,
transformed the steering, handling and roadholding immediately, excellent. The new rear tyre was less dramatic as regards handling, but overall contributes to a smoother ride - more pliable over road surface irregularities. So - more than happy with the front Avon, excellent, 10 out of 10. Not too ecstatic about the rear, especially its age, brand new but lost a year already!
