“Happy Hybrid Owner”

My hybrid became a victim of lockdown and sheltering and resulted in loss of 12 volt battery charge. Response from GEM was immediate and courteous with appropriate follow up information. However the breakdown contractor seemed to be poorly briefed as to remote location and nature of problem. No contact was made by phone until the attending driver was lost, and a full size recovery vehicle was used which had difficulty accessing my property. The jump-start rig was in a poor state of repair and charge was achieved by trailing bare frayed ends to live terminal. Although start was achieved in this way I was a bit concerned at this given the warnings and high voltages present under the bonnet (self-charging hybrid). Overall a good result but I think there could be better focus on needs and communication in delivery.
