“Curry's BEWARE!!”

The wife bought a smart tv yesterday from Curry's online. It said the item was in stock so she so she placed the order to collect from Curry's Hedge End, Southamapton. She got confirmation but then had an email to say the item was not available but no money had been taken. She checked her bank account and the money had been taken. We decided to go to Curry's in Hedge End and give them the order number for collection to see what would happen. The shop has all the windows covered from inside so you can't see in and they had a very young girl on the door to deal with you, you can't go in the shop yourself. We gave her the order number and she went inside then came back and said they didn't have the item but had taken no money. When we said the money was showing as gone out she said it was ring fenced and Curry's have not got the money and that the money should show back in her account in a day or two. My wife went to her bank today who told her there was nothing she could do except wait for her refund. She was told that the law needs changing to stop this from happening. So as things stand, no refund, no tv but she is £160 out of pocket...Curry's you suck real bad!!!
