“Do not buy”

I waited 7 weeks for a hydrangea to arrive, which in the present climate I accepted. After about 4 weeks I received an emailer-assuring me - ‘The good thing with positive side is that if you have plants waiting to come out to you, they will just be getting bigger and better on our nursery for the extra time they are here, as all items we have sold are sitting in stock on our nursery, so they are just growing on further’. When it did arrive I received a pot with about 6 sticks protruding, no foliage - it looked like something which had been pruned right back. It is hard to understand how the extra time in the nursery had helped. When I complained I was advised that if I looked after it, it would eventually look like the image on the web site. Needless to say, I will not purchase from them again.
