“Hacked Accounts - how to fix”

Unknowingly I had an old account with Studio which was hacked in March in exactly the same way as hundreds of the other reviews here.

If, like me you are hacked, you’ll receive an email telling you your account details have been changed, take a note of the address that it has been changed to. You need the postcode of that address to be able to access your account by using the forgotten password option. This was the only way I could gain access to my account again and change the address back to my own before the items that had been ordered were dispatched.

Remember to change your account password etc once the address has been changed back. I was lucky and managed to change the delivery address in time before the items were sent out. I now have the items and will just wait for Studio to arrange collection of them (if they ever do).

I’ve since had a letter from them confirming that my account was fraudulently accessed. The blame for this was put on me; they said it was due to my email being hacked. How coincidental for so many others to suffer the same issue with Studio accounts......!

No doubt thousands have suffered the same issues with them.  

Please do not use them; close any accounts you have with them ASAP and save yourself the hassle.
