Been with Halifax for about a year and my partner with them for six months. We always find them unfriendly and unhelpful especially the Stockport branch.
We went in today to pay in and as usual, we were met with unfriendly door staff who always try to make things as difficult as possible.
today she went too far and the counter staff just sniggered so we both ended up closing all our accounts there and then on the spot. they forget they need us as customers but we don't need them. if your unhappy it's easy to swap banks so just do it.
