“Poor Follow-Up Service”

I've given this business two stars because they stock lovely kitchen things. But, FOLLOW-UP SERVICE IS TERRIBLE.

Here's my experience on buying some decorated bowls: On removing the bubble wrap surrounding one bowl when I got home I discovered a chip in its edge. Trying to contact Kitchenmonger, I found they never answered their phone. I left messages with full contact details and explaining the problem - which were all ignored. I tried to contact them using the email address on my printed receipt, only to find it bounced back. When I tried to verify the email address via the business's website (also printed on the receipt) I discovered no website exists! Which seems very strange.

This appears to be 'a local shop for local people'. If you're not local and buy anything here, make sure it's exactly what you want and there is nothing wrong with it!
