“Halifax security system flawed”

Halifax clarity card i would not recommend any halifax product. i was on holiday and unfortunately had my halifax clarity card stolen. there was fraudulent activity on my account before i noticed the card had gone. afterwards, halifax advised me they would investigate to see if my loss was covered. halifax informed me that the fraudulent activity was not covered as the pin number had been used. i insisted that i had not compromised the pin. Halifax failed to do even the most rudimentary checks on the fraudulent activity. The halifax system was checked again twice, and halifax re- asserted the pin had been used. I again insisted that the pin was not compromised, and the halifax system must be flawed. After a long discussion, it was eventually suggested that it could have been me that used the pin. I refused to accept their conclusion and halifax suggested that i should take it to the ombudsman. I told halifax that i would not be taking this to the ombudsman, but i would be taking them to court as i was incensed by their suggestion that i was potentially a fraudster. Remarkable another check was done and lo and behold halifax admitted that the halifax system was defective. I am not a shy person and am not easily intimidated but it took the threat of taking them to court to get to the truth.
