“Gosford leather buttoned sofa”

I recently purchased a Gosford buttoned three and two seater sofa's when purchased I wasn't informed what type of leather they were, my family and I were dismayed to discover that the quality was inferior when it was delivered to our home. Every droplet of liquid stains and it absorbs every grain of dirt. When we were given a leaflet with the sofa's it stated ''Clean with a slight damp cloth''.
A relative had recommended that Next sofa's were good quality; in this instance I found that it is the exact opposite. I decided to contact two independent furniture advisors after an accident spillage damaged one cushion it was then after the advisors told me that leather next suites are aniline leather which are dyed pigmented leather. When I mopped up the stain some of the leather dye transfered from the leather onto the cloth I used. The cushion is now discoloured. I wouldn't recommend buying any sofa from next. At the time when I purchased these sofa's I wasn't told about the type of leather and I felt I had been let down; I purchased these in good faith and from an inheritance I receivied (if my late relative were here and saw how this outcome turned out he would've been appalled.
