“South India Explorer Tour December 2019”

Visited India late November to 12 December 2019.
Well organised tour with fantastic driver and guides.
Unbelievable scenery and sights - almost too much at times to take in.
Driver Kirishnan was a key factor for us - helpful and always trying to explain local customs and politics. Took us to see sights and experience good food along the way - thanks to him for that - he was almost like a full time guide.
Would have liked to change the itinerary for more of a feel of older India and please others, be aware that there is considerable travelling by Indian road (in Indian traffic) - up to several hours a day.
Highlights - Kerala boat trip - absolutely fabulous indulgence - you must try this! Low point - being bitten badly by mosquitoes in the ‘spice garden’. We will return but to a more leisurely holiday next time.
