“Prices doubled, complaint goes nowhere”

For the past 3 years I have used the Gocardless service, so most of my clients are now billed on the Gocardless system. It was easy and convenient for clients to use, and because the Gocardless pricing was simple and reasonable.

I was therefore horrified that Gogardless will now double the rates I have to pay.

This price hike means that I will likely have to first find a suitable alternative, and then move all my customers -- with all the upset and troubles, and probably loss of a number of customers, that this will entail. I have raised a complaint, but it seems Gocardless are sticking to their price hike. They don't seem to care or see how offensive and wrong their move is.

I strongly advise against using Gocardless, because you can have no confidence in what they'll do next.
