just like everyone else on here i fell for the same trick.
i originally applied online as i was looking for a loan to purchase a new car, when they called me they said i had been approved and to 'process the application and check id' i needed to provide debit card info and accept to pay of fee of £69.50, i was sceptical at first and asked could i get a refund if i didnt accept any loan, she said yes i will get a full refund so i thought if i was getting a loan anyway then the £69.50 wouldnt matter. after reviewing the offer from the lender i decided not to go for it as the interest was FAR too high and would end up paying back double!!!
i rang back asking for a refund and the advisor said ok i'll transfer you through to which i was transfered to another lender!
when i rang back through and explained what had happened i got a cretin of a person on the phone named 'karl' to which i was arguing with for 30 mins before he decided to hang up! he point blank refused to pass me to a supervisor.

i will be writing in for a refund (not holding my breathe based on previous reviews) and a letter of complaint to yes loans and to the regulatory body, i dont know how these people work for this company and sleep at night knowing they are ripping people off and taking money from people who is obviously short on cash in the first place.

to sum up AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!! x a billion!
