“Hire At Your Peril”

This Company trade under lots of lots of different names but based in Cambridge
Hired a very poor motorhome in early July 2019 from this LOT, the fridge didn't work on 240 volts or 12volts also door release handle broken, loads of bodywork damage scratches with photo,s to prove & TV screen broken but luckily for me I got the handover person / valeter to sign "for this” on my own made up check list which he was very reluctant to do, he actually said I wouldn’t hire one of these,s MOTORHOMES and at this point I’m thinking me “too” , then at the campsite the shower cubical waste water system was blocked so 2 out of the 3 the main things we needed fridge & washing facility's didn't work
On return of vehicle the hand over went fine especially when I showed him my own "made up signed for release check list" which he was very surprised to see, I was verbally told I would get my refundable deposit of £1250 back and this is where all the stress begins after waiting over 28 working days (6 weeks) for OUR MONEY £1250 to be handed back and nothing, waiting over hour for the live chat web site “gave up in the end” & no emails returned. I decided Ive wasted enough time with this lot, so I raised a county court small claims against them costing me £70 to get my £1250 deposit back, I also contacted Cambridge Trading Standards, Action Fraud and BBC Watchdog reporting their antics which I suggest you do same if your in this same situation
Finally money returned exactly 3 months after they had taken it and I believe that was only due to my legal action, I agree with all the other comments on here bombarded with emails for extras at a cost & thier website online booking system that’s painful
NEVER NEVER NEVER WILL I DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN would give minus -5 stars if possible
