Bought a kitchen herb garden for my daughter as a present. Everything was provided including a wooden rack to plant the seeds. She followed the instructions and we waited excitedly. After about six weeks there were two or three tiny green shoots, nothing more. I emailed the company and got no reply. I then phoned and they said they had emailed me but the email hadn’t arrived. . The offer made was to send out a new garden and we could package up the old one and return it. This was not practical so I asked for a refund. I was told that this had to be dealt with by head office because it was a high value product, They took my contact details and said to expect a call within 2 /3 days. I heard nothing and consequently wrote to them asking for a full refund. Today almost a month after being told I would receive a call, I got a call in response to my letter, not my initial complaint. The upshot of the call was that the best they could do was give me a £10 refund on a £46 item to buy some more soil and seeds. Some may say better than nothing but personally I feel this is an appalling gesture by a shoddy company. Apparently the fault was ours not the product. Six packs of herbs producing nothing, I don’t think it was our fault but the problem was with the seeds. Interestingly enough I can no longer see the product in the website so no one else will suffer the disappointment we have had. My advice to anyone is don’t buy anything from this company and if you do and things go wrong, don’t expect good customer service.
