“Yellow Stuff pads fitted to a Ford Granada”

I have a 2.0L MK1 Granada with a standard break setup. I was looking at ways to improve the brakes which seem to take a while to respond. Someone suggested fitting some uprated pads with a slightly softer compound would help the brakes bite better. I spoke to EBC who recommended the yellow pads as these work well from cold can handle high temperatures. (Although I'm not likely to do any rally driving) First impression are good as the brakes do seem to respond better. The real test will be when I do some dual carriageway driving.
