I used Shareagift to collect funds for a school leavers' party. When I first requested to collect the funds nothing happened. The same the second time.
This morning I sent a couple of emails and a Facebook message asking for help then called the helpline which is a call centre acting on their behalf. They said they would send an email.
I then came on here to have a look for reviews. And panicked thinking how will I tell everyone?
Then thankfully I saw the review talking about Action Fraud so I called the helpcentre again and said I would contact Action Fraud if I didn't receive the funds.
Now, I don't know if it was the threat of action or the fact I'd sent an email asking for help but the money came within half an hour.
I used Shareagift four years ago with no problems, they were really supportive and helpful at the time. I hope they can turn their reputation around again.
