“Fast Pickup, Clear Return Instructions, Brilliant”

On looking for car rental from Alicante, I looked for alternatives to the big rental names after seeing universal low scores and reading reviews about three and four hour delays at Alicante airport to pick up your car, when you have paid, with no choice except to use half a day of your holiday after a long flight. How can the big boys get away with this? Myself, last holiday I used Avis and they added in extras during the pickup process which they never mentioned. We were tired, with an impatient queue behind us, not really reading the pages of it on screen, they got us to sign on screen, then refused to refund when we noticed later, saying we had signed it. Awful.

Thank goodness I found Coy's on Google - now this is how car rental should be done. The instructions for pick up were clear, and we found our rep easily and quickly. (And on glancing over to the big name desks, the queues were plain to see, we had a really lucky escape!) The rep was friendly and efficient, and took us promptly in person to the car. He explained all we needed to know, and how to return the car. We also got a leaflet explaining in detail where to go, what lane to be in, where to turn etc. on returning the car - this was excellent and we would have been lost without it. The car itself was clean, and it was great that we paid for 20 euros of petrol. No need to worry about filling up ASAP when you are exhausted, and then on the way back, no need to worry about finding the petrol station or leaving the same amount in - just return near empty, much easier. It is worth paying extra for all this excellent service. I cannot tell you how happy I was to find this company and have such a great experience.
