“New policy”

After taking out a further breakdown policy with you on Saturday through Groupon although the payment was taken on Saturday, Groupon could not confirm this with me until Monday morning.
Unfortunately Monday evening about 21.00 hrs I broke down on the M5 in Worcestershire after travelling 190 miles and around 35 miles from home. When I called for assistance, I was told that the 48hrs inception was from Monday morning and not Saturday when my money was taken for the policy.
Your operative asked me for £320.00 to arrange recovery for my vehicle. So I had to arrange alternative recovery.
If you could look at this and explain to me why I paid for this on Saturday morning but unable to use this on Monday evening, Groupon I feel have let me down along with Emergency Assist Ltd.
