I booked a trip to Cancun through bookit.com. Horrible, horrible customer service.
I had to do it through the phone because online will only allow 1 airport option and I had a friend who wanted to fly out of NY instead of DC. I asked if she could call in and book her own flight as I didn't want to put her on something she couldn't make and they said that was fine. I reiterated if it was a big deal I would do it then. But I was assured no big deal. Except when my friend called she couldn't book anything. So I had to call back. And they tried to tell me I needed an extra room when I didn't. And she told me she was on the other line with another customer and would call me back but she didn't. And then when I call again and I do the mod request (which was a hassle and getting information regarding estimated pricing and such was like pulling teeth) she tells me I'll receive an e-mail within a week....and never do. And so I call and talk to someone else they say there's no evidence of any mod and want to charge me an extra $100.00. So then I call customer service and they drop the $100.00 but offer no consideration for the extreme amount of hassle I had to go through. And now I STILL have to wait for 2 days to see if another promised e-mail actually comes with confirmation of the mod to the booking.
Unless your trip is extremely, extremely, straight forward--stay away! And even then think twice. You will get 0 customer service help. Honestly, the booking agent did not even get my name right half the time and would call me a random other name on the booking ticket.
