I came to UK IN 08, needed a car
Went to BCA auction. Saw a car come into the line,looked at the straightness, saw the cruise, 3 mins later I owned it . Before this I had never even heard of a Mondeo
Upon starting it , it knocked, turned out was accessory belt tensioner
i ignored thatfor 35,000 miles
I drove all over Eu as far as Turkey
i sat it on 110mph for one solid hour on a German Abahn
Mostly though I cruised it at 60. I loved that car, was best car I have ever owned. I am 64 so I have owned a few
I took it to NZ, sold it for what I paid at 119000
I want another, will be back in UK soon, but hear they are now belt drivem cam?
I dont want that, the places I go
i used to compare it in Eu with vw, audi and by comparison they LACK space. They are hugely overpriced and if you buy bmw , audi, vw second hand in uk over mondeo, you are really totally misguided and a badge fool
