“DEAD HAMSTER LEFT BEHIND TILL FOR OVER A WEEK!!!!!!!”

I shop at pets at home, MAIDENHEAD quite frequently as I own a very hungry dog!
Last week, i noticed a smell coming from the till area. It was a strong, rotting smell and when I asked at the till what the smell was, the young man explained that it was coming from the sewers across the road.
Three days later, I returned to the store and smelt the odour again. This time, I over heard two girls who worked there talking about how the managers hadn't removed the escaped hamster behind the till and how it was getting unbearable to work there with the decaying smell. This discraced me! I've never been so appaulled in all my life!
Several days later, I returned and the smell was STILL there! I have contacted the enviromental health but I dont think they are doing anything. If they are going to treat there dead animals like this, what are they doing to their live ones?
I wont be returning to this store again.
