“Would avoid!!! ”

I spent hours searching the internet for the right policy to cover my wedding day, went through and applied online via the WeddingPlan website only to find that at the end of the application they ask you to accept a clause which basically says that you confirm that no close relative, bride or groom suffers from any medical condition, depression or stress that may affect the wedding. I have a nan in hospital at the moment and an Uncle who is awaiting an operation. When i spoke with an advisor they affectively said that becuase I have a nan who is in hospital at the moment i cannot have wedding insurance with them. How discriminatory is that!? So, becuase I have an ill family member, I cannot have insurance - how ridiculous! I would avoid using a company like this who seem to discrimiate so badly and force you to accept such a general get out clause which could stop them from having to pay out!!!
