WRITE A REVIEW

“New style but the site is now much less stable”

I have been using the Genesreunited site for several years and have been very happy with it, but recently they have tried to make it flashier. The result seems to be that it is now much less stable and reliable than it was. They seem to have big problems with it, as much of the site is down for maintenance this afternoon - a Sunday afternoon is presumably a peak time for this site so, whatever the problem is, it must be serious. There really was no need to 'improve' the site, which was working perfectly well. The owners don't seem to realise that the main value in it is not the pretty graphics but the data supplied by their many thousands of subscribers. Anything they do to the site that risks losing these is inevitably counter-productive.
