“beware before booking !!”

We booked a hotel in Portugal with Lastminute.Com and received booking confirmation via e mail and an invoice confirming four rooms and price. Following receipt of confirmation we spoke with the hotel directly who confirmed the booking and even informed us that they could arrange for the rooms to be close together. With confidence we then booked return flights. Ten days later we received an e mail from Lastminute.com cancelling our hotel booking due to what they described as a pricing error on their behalf. Customer Services offered no assistance stating that it was the fault of their provider. Be careful when booking as it appears Lastminute.com can cancel a booking even after confirmation and invoices are received. NOT A TRUSTWORTHY COMPANY. Will never use this company again !
