“I recomend to avoid Goldcar”

We booked goldcar car rental from Ryanair web, together with air tickets to Pisa and car insurance.

Once in Pisa’s Goldcar office, we were requested to choose between payment of 1200 EUR as insursnce deposit (that Goldcar would retain until 1 month after car return if no issue on the car) or updrade of insurance (with 169 EUR cost). We also needed to pay Diesel tax. The treatment from Goldcar person was not at all kind.

The car was dirty when we took it but we really wanted to leave the airport after awful experience.

We will never repeat with Goldcar again and we can only recomend to stay away.
