“bad service booking.com”

We rented a hotel apartment through booking.com. The day before we went away the property owner called at 6 his property wasn't ready but he has another property where we can stay. Because I found him honest I accepted to go there and look at the property. When we came there were tired and we get the keys and the wives were out but we put suite cases in the property but not being comfortable I let my wife take contact to the owner that reacted a couple of hours later. He was busy what is ofcourse normal dealing with his problems. After a couple of hours my wife talked with the owner and said this is not acceptable ( Moulted walls, Smelling sewer, Danger access window and stairs with 3 years old children ). The owner said I will call booking.com and tell them and they will have to sort it out. Long story short booking.com said your there 5 hours so we cant do anything. You can get your money back or stay. There we are with two families and 3 years old kids. So we said ok transfer our money back so we can book another hotel No that will take 3-6 days. So no money and no acceptable hotel/apartment. No help at all and just left alone. And at the last message they where holding cleaning cost 100,-. No taking responsibility just left alone. No use of the apartments but holding back 100,- euros for a cleaning that wasn't even cleaned. So for us the most horrible vacation we had for many years. Oh and we cant leave a review on the website of booking.com about the service they provided. We had our money back after a couple of day when we were back in the uk but 100,00 lessor and spend more money on other accommodation. Thanks booking.com for ruining our vacation and taking money for nothing.
