Had to lodge complaints to Financial Ombudsman Service about Sunny Loans over a year ago. Today asked for a £250 loan on-line simply to test the water - I have total £1670+ per month proven, guaranteed income. However inside of a minute of completing all sections of (pretty vague) application, sent me "decision email" rejecting the application, declining to provide any reason or explanation.
This refusal is blatantly made as "petty payback" because of my earlier recorded formal complaints to Regulator, and my opinion of their appalling and dishonest conduct expressed a year before. Luckily I didn't need the money, but in my opinion SUNNY behaviour is without doubt the WORST and most DISHONEST out there, setting the lowest standards of conduct and consistently failing to achieve those low standards. Difficult to understand how they retain their Financial services licence to trade, given the swarm of negative feedback and complaints constantly made against them.
SUNNY LOANS are part of Provident, a mother company who appears not to care about this failing, disgraceful branch of its service. Provident should also hang its head in shame at this awful, associated branch of its services. I can very easily foresee both these entities soon dwindling out of existence.
My honest advice as a retired police officer? AVOID SUNNY LOANS LIKE THE PLAGUE, OR ACCEPT THE FAULT IS ENTIRELY YOURS FOR ANY GRIEF YOU GET FROM THEM!!
