“Paignton - Weekend Break”

Just returned from a long weekend break in Paignton. Cannot fault the coach driver he was excellent. Do have to complain about the length of time it took us to get to and from the resort 10 hours on a coach is not a lot of fun. Would not recommend the hotel in the resort either Esplanade in Paignton leaves a lot to be desired. The evening meals provided would struggle to feed a small child let alone an adult. Soup was cold and when I complained I was told the chef said it should be served at room temperature. Portions were small and servings took a long time. Rooms are very tired and need a lot of work to bring them up to some sort of decent standard. The shower and bathroom are both dirty and small. Rooms are equally as small. Appreciate you only sleep in them but you do need to be able to work around the bed. Would not recommend.
