I am soooo over Debenhams. This is now the 2nd time in 6 months that I have been treated poorly by Debenhams and I will not be going there ever again.
I had a dress put by that I went in to pick up 4 days later and they had gone and put it aside for someone else the day after I chose it! They absolutely refused to let me have it and would not even try and get me another one from another store. Unbelievable!
I also bought a fascinator but was not told they were unreturnable. In fact, I had mentioned at one point that I wasn't sure if it would match my outfit and so I might bring it back. Then, when I did try to return it I was told I couldn't because of 'health & hygiene issues'. I have asked them REPEATEDLY (5 emails) to tell me what these issues are but they won't. I can only assume it is because of germs or whatever associated with the hair/head. So... on that basis I have asked them why they have sold me a fascinator that has been tried on by numerous people in their hat dept. before I purchased it. Guess what? NO ANSWER!!
'Customer Service'? What a joke. Once they have your money you are no longer important to them.
