“Will never use again”

Worst taxi experience I have had in over 40 years of both leisure and business travel.

We were picked up at Geneva airport for a 90 minute journey to Morzine. Very quickly into the journey we were concerned about the driver and his driving. He was very distracted, often looking at his phone. On several occasions he actually crossed into oncoming traffic forcing oncoming drivers to swerve out of his way. One of the party actually had her eyes closed most of the journey. As we got close, he got lost, the only job he had was to get us to an address he was given in advance. He stopped and said 'what do you want me to do? I have no further instruction', we entered the address into one of our phones which took us right to the door.

On entering the apartment, before we even unpacked, we contacted HolidayTaxis to let them know what had happened. They apologised and assured us that a different driver will pick us up on the return.

The day before the return, received a text saying the driver was going to be 30 minutes earlier that arranged, he would arrive at 09:00 instead of 09:30.
At 08:30, we were greeted by a car tooting outside the apartment, to our HORROR, it was the same driver. We told him he was too early and we were not ready and we would be ready at 09:00 ... he then rang the doorbell every 10 minutes as well as entering the apartment!

The journey back was just as eventful, several near misses of other vehicles including a near miss of an old lady on a crossing.

Immediately on our return, we complained to HolidayTaxis, who basically wash their hands of customer issues and just pass the complaint onto the supplier.

The supplier said we had no proof/evidence of the bad driving and it was our word against the driver.

We are so angry that having had a scary experience and being assured of a different driver, the same one was dispatched. Had we been warned this was to occur, we would have made other arrangements. We could not make alternative arrangements with zero notice and were forced to endure the return.

I am so upset and disappointed in the way HolidayTaxis have handled this so far. They truly don't seem to care. At this point I have no idea what it will take for them to show one iota or care towards their customers, and take responsibility for their drivers and the experience that they provide.
