The basic plot, Colin farrel plays a newly released con, who has just done several years inside, he's back on the streets, with a name thats well known in the london gangster fertenitey. even though he is a vicious man, he does have a heart for the right people.

Kira Knightly plays a hounded actress whos every move is pursude by the papparazzi.

long of the short farrell goes to work for Knightly as handyman / protector, over time he falls in love with her.

on top of all this the daddy (ray winston) of crims, the man at the top of londons crime world wants farrell to work for him, yet farrell want out of this way of life.

this film is very well made, not to much time is spent explaining how peoples lives are shaped or the pitfalls they indured, it has a very 60/70's feel in parts, even though it is set in present day london.

well written, and very gritty in parts, a good all round film for its fan base of crime / gangster thrillers
