“Phenomenal customer service”

I recently purchased a lens online from Ffordes' used department. I live in the USA, and this was my first time as a Ffordes customer. Unfortunately, the lens was damaged during shipment–a disappointment, but not necessarily Ffordes' fault, and always a risk when purchasing photo gear through the mail. I immediately contacted Ffordes about the issue, and they were very responsive and helpful. They immediately offered to accept the lens for repair under their used equipment warranty, and helped me through the process of returning the lens to them. Once they received the lens, they repaired it and returned it to me in a very timely manner (about 2 weeks from the time I received it–not lightning fast, but more quickly than I expected: the lens that I purchased was made for a now-defunct camera system and is somewhat rare, so there aren't many shops that are able to perform the work that was needed). The quality of the repair also seems to be excellent (I would like to say that it is perfect, but I unfortunately have not yet had the time to really put the lens through its paces, so to speak). I am impressed with and grateful for Ffordes' integrity and good communication, and I will certainly look to them when I wish to acquire photo gear again in the future.
