This show engaged my children and I from start to finish because it stimulated the imagination. It was as if a pop-up book had come to life. Only two actors but a whole host of characters in really wonderful costumes. Sound effects seemed to be live, which was a real novelty and had the same effect on ones imagination as listening to a good radio play. The text was really clearly spoken, which made it easy to comprehend the story line - even for the youngest one. In Jack and the Beanstalk we were on the edge of our seats when the Giant appeared. It was amazing to see so much done with so little and yet to hold our attention for the entire hour.
