General Comments
I ordered the o2 x1 as an upgrade, and was rather annoyed when it arrived, and didn't have an IR interface as stated in o2's own instore brochure.

So I tried to find out if I could get a data cable to transfer photos from the phone.

It seems o2 don't have a single product specialist capable of answering the simplest questions, like 'How much for a data cable?'. Clueless, utterly clueless. I ended up making a dozen or so phone calls to o2, and nobody knew thing. I got lots of opinion, but no facts. I was eventually told to go to an o2 store, and try a Samsung V200 cable, and the o2 'WebConnect' software. So I took time off work, went to the shop, only to be informed they don't stock Samsung data cables as accessories (so even if this solution worked, I wouldn't be able to buy one), as they are supplied with each phone, and they didn't have the software. The goon I spoke to at o2 said he'd post me the software, but this didn't arrive either.

So I'm cancelling all three of my contracts because o2 misrepresented this item, then mismanaged my queries.

When I called to do this, I was offered a 'discounted' Sony Ericsson. I say 'discounted' because they said it ws usually £50, but I could have it for the upgrade price of £30. If I upgrade in store, that model is free.

So o2 also have different pricing, between their phone retail and shopfronts. Not helpful as a customer at all.

So, my x1 is going back, and I'm canning o2 as my provider too.

Oh, and yes, MMS sending of an image failed too.

Giving this phone am overall zero, as it's no use to me without a data interface, despite it's other features.
