Good Points
New, great looks, nippy for a 1.2l. Wide range of optional extras available. Free insurance when bought new. (ideal for a young driver)
Bad Points
Becomes VERY sluggish when you have a full car. Fails to pull away quick.
VERY popular now. (although extras available to make it look personalised)
General Comments
I Bought my Vauxhall Corsa S.X.I in June 2003 with 1 years free insurance (fully Comprehensive). The free insurance allowed me to have anything upto £1000 extra added on, so I went for the Irmscher kit, which consists of front spoiler, twin exhaust back box, rear spoiler, fuel flap cover, Irmscher badge £860 and fully factory painted and fitted.
Other models available 1.4 sri & luxury versions etc, 1.8sri & next year gsi 1.6 turbo (so i hear.) good price as opposed to the 1800cc sri. 1.4l comes with no free insurance and a tad bit quicker. its upto personal preference but 1.2 sxi has the sporty looks of the sri both 1.4,1.8 versions but just lacks the engine power.
great car though, especially in ultra blue (my colour)
