I have been with Autonet insurance for a number of year, never made a claim in this time.
I was sent my renewal, but had found a better quote from another company, I then phoned Autonet and offered them the opportunity to match the quote, but they were unable to. I then replied by saying that I will be taking the insurance out with the other company, so do not require their cover.
About a week later they took the renewal cost from my bank without my permission.
I then phoned them and asked why they had taken the money without permission, and can I have my money back.
They replied by apologizing and saying I will have my money in around 5 days and that the complaints team would phone me.
A further 9 Days went by and I had still not received my money or had a call from the complaints team, I then phoned them back again to be left on hold for some time then told it had not been processed and would take another 5-7 days once I had spoken to the complaints team that were in a meeting and would not be able to speak to me until this coming Monday after the weekend, very frustrating!!!
