“customer service and badly managed paint department”

went to buy some paint. it would appear the limited choice of colours that whomever orders their paint has a strong preference for certain colours and a dislike for others. the different coloured paints were randomly stacked on the shelves so I had to remove loads of cans to see what was behind. I asked one of the staff members if his computer could advise if what I was looking for was in stock......it doesnt work that way, he replied before walking off.....to continue gossiping with one of his colleagues. no effort to offer to help me look for the colours i wanted or check the top shelf which was out of reach to the public. i eventually found 3 smaller cans of the colour i needed, randomly spread out down the aisle behind other coloured paints. None of the colour i wanted were available in 5L cans and no discount offered to make up for the fact that i had to buy smaller cans at a ridiculously high cost ie £20 for 5L and £16 for 2.5L.
