“Poor delivery service”

Have been forced to use this company by my insurer. Found a poor selection of bikes equivalent to my stolen bike (a Raleigh hybrid) and key frame sizes often unavailable.
Delivery window is 8am (or 9am - staff appear to be unsure) until 6pm weekdays only: for a Saturday delivery you have to pay £40. When I explained that I couldn’t be home on a weekday for 10 hours they just asked if I could get someone else to wait in my house. They did offer to deliver it somewhere else but there’s not much advantage to having a bike miles from where I actually live!
Am waiting in today (a Saturday) but, again, staff have alternately told me the delivery window is 9am - 1pm and 8am - 6pm. Struggle to believe they can’t give me a shorter time frame, even if only on the day.
When the bike is delivered it, I will have to attach the pedals and turn the handlebars around myself.
None of this is better than being able to buy a bike locally but Wheelies give my insurer a 23% discount, so I’m stuck...
