“DO NOT BUY”

We ordered our Emporer corner settee and love chair 6 weeks ago tomorrow (09/10/18). We were told it will be delivered between 4-6 weeks. Today the delivery turns up as requested by myself on your delivery booking system only to be told by the driver that there is no settee, only the chair. He has no knowledge as to why it’s not there despite his delivery sheet saying it is. He calls driver support and I speak to a woman who can only tell me that the corner suite had to be reordered on the 03/10, this being last week and after the delivery being confirmed not only by me but by Sofology as well. She cannot tell me anymore than this. To say I am angry is an understatement. I have had one call back from an albeit apologetic lady from customer services who said she will investigate what has happened and why no one contacted us to explain the reason for the delay. She has offered a ‘loan’ sofa which I did accept and she said she would come back to me. Several hours later and still nothing. We have set up a direct debit to pay over £5k over the next 4 years for this settee. £5k!!!!!!!! This is not the service we expected but now having read several reviews realise that we may have made a very expensive mistake. If this isn’t rectified very soon or at least some kind of explanation and goodwill gesture and some service recovery then I will not be paying for this sofa and will be seeking legal advice as to my next step. Their customer after sales service is appalling. When you first go into their store then of course the customer service is brilliant, but once they have your money or financial commitment then forget it!!
