Another solid board by Asus. Supporting DDR3 and i7 the P6X58D-E brings USB 3 and SATA 6G to the X58 chipset. This means the board will be somewhat future proof. The board itself, has a great quality feel about it, from the moment you handle the box. Install was a breeze with the included Q shield Q connectors and comprehensive quick start guide (not that I used it!). Everything worked first time around, no messing about with re-installing parts. The board looks the part too with it muted blue and contrasting black.
Overclocking is very easy indeed with Windows tools, however I have preformed mine in BIOS so it is preserved between reboots. Coupled the an i7 950 and 6GB of RAM, this was a huge update from my overclocked Q6600. I bought the Board from Aria who delivered the next day. Fantastic price too, it was the least expensive etailer on the net. I highly recommend both the board and Aria.
