Having an almost 300 quote from Renault I looked for an alternative. On the website they advertise a Full Service for 170 pounds. Yet they don't mention it is 170+VAT, so almost 200 in total.

The driver came almost an hour late for the pick-up. Returned it back 6 hours later (after I paid over the phone), in exactly the same condition, with just a service light reset.

I'm not convinced they did do anything else...



Definitely not the wheel pressure check - as the wheels came with exactly the same (too low) pressure as they were before the service. They claim you check the breaks with wheels off - how come given that on the wheel dirt there is no sign of anyone touching them? And the service report - none given. Just a stamp in the service book.



I had a punched tire, so I asked for it to be taken care of. So they put a random make for that one wheel only! The manufacturer suggests a pressure of 29psi... so they pumped it to 55psi!!!!!!



After seeing that, I am actually glad they didn't touch the car at all. God knows what they'd do to the breaks, steering etc given their track record with the rear tire!!!!
