We bought this bed from Sleepmasters on 7/4/09, it cost £599.95 plus £20 delivery and it was delivered on 3/5/09.

We had it for aprox 6 months when we started to noticed a roll together and the tufts in the mattress hurting me when I laid on the bed to such an extent they would wake me in the night with the pain they caused!

The centre of the tufts are hard plastic!



We got in touch with Sleepmasters and asked them to replace just the mattress and they asked for pictures, so we provided them thinking that the 5 year guarantee would cover this but no.

After a lot of complaining we were told to buy a good quality mattress protector.

How foolish were we buying a new bed when all we had to do was buy a mattress protector for our old bed.



Eventually they sent a person from Echomaster in England to do a report. Echomaster-Sleepmasters is there a link? Was there no one closer?

The person told me that Sleepmasters would do nothing about it and this was before he finished his report.

And sure enough they sent us a letter saying there was no manufacturing fault so basicaly TOUGH, they would not replace it.



We explained (many times) that the padding between the tufts had flattened which ment when I lay on the bed the tufts were then Proud of the padding. They did say we could get a report done ourselves.

It costs aprox £100 and if it said there was a fault they might THINK about replacing it.

We could not run to that sort of money just to be told that they might think about replacing it.



We had tried many beds before we bought this one because I am disabled and can only lay on my left side and the height of the bed and firmness of the mattress was of paramount importance for me!

We had asked the sales person about the tufts in the bed as we did in all the bed shops and she assured us that they would not interfear with our comfort.



We also got in touch with Sealy and they said the same as Sleepmasters.

We are devastated about this as we cannot afford to replace this mattress.

We beleive Sleepmasters and Sealy should be ashamed of themselves.

In our opnion after sales service(Customer Service)do not exsist in these companies.



I recomend that you never buy from either of these companies and do your utmost to recommend this review to everyone you can.

We would not give any stars in Overall Rating if possibile
