“Great phone, so much better than the iphone 4 in terms...”

Great phone, so much better than the iphone 4 in terms of what it can do (especially now the Froyo update has come out on Orange). A few points why I think this is better than the iphone 4:

- Most apps that you would have to pay for on the iphone app store (albeit probably only £1-2) can be found free or ad-supported on the android marketplace.

- Free satnav!

- Google translate, great for on holiday (if there is wi-fi)

- Works as a wireless access point to share your 3G connection

- Live wallpapers

- Widgets on the home screen

Although to be fair there are a few down points:

- Some of the apps look a bit shady and there has already been report of malware, although you are informed of what access each app will be granted.

- By default most apps like facebook, twitter are set to auto-update even if you aren't looking at them, this can REALLY drain the battery.

- It seems to leave a lot of apps open, I was worried this was draining my battery juice so I got the task killer app, accidentally killed the clock app, missed my alarm and was late for work!

Still all in all it looks as slick as the iphone (get a cool case off ebay and the illusion is complete!), does more and costs a HELL of a lot less, i'm paying £25 p/m with free phone over 18 months, the iphone 4 was £40 p/m and £179 for the phone over 18 months, crazy crazy stuff!
